This September, two icons of Bollywood’s golden era, Kumar Sanu and Sadhana Sargam, brought their evergreen voices to North America with “The Unforgettable 90’s” Tour. Fans gathered at Thunder Valley Casino Resort on September 14 and Yaamava’ Resort & Casino on September 20 for two unforgettable evenings of music and nostalgia.
From the very first song, “Pyar To Hona Hi Tha”, the audience was transported back to the magic of the 90s. Hit after hit followed, with fans on their feet, especially during the upbeat favorites like “Aankh Mare”. Kumar Sanu’s charm lit up the stage as he sang songs that many people grew up with, creating playful moments, such as inviting a fan from the audience on stage during “Mere Chand Mujhe Aaya Hai Nazar”. The night ended on a heartfelt note with “Bye Bye”, as he waved and blew kisses to the audience in a perfect farewell.
Sadhana Sargam’s elegance and powerful voice made the nights more magical, while Rachna Chopra’s opening performances of classics like “Hume Tumse Pyar Kitna” and “Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko” set the tone beautifully. Alongside the legends, Shannon K brought a new energy to the shows and connected with audiences in her own style. Fans sang every word, filling the halls with love and memories, and the connection between the artists and the audience made the shows feel deeply personal.
